Maintenance Free Poly lumber (HDPE) is made from post-consumer and post-industrial sources like milk jugs and laundry detergent bottles. Our HDPE lumber is a high-performing and environmentally-friendly material manufactured in the United States. It is resistant to fading, rotting, mold, insects, and splintering. We use stainless steel fasteners that resist rust, even in salt water exposure.

Our polyethylene outdoor furniture products are warranted to be free of original defects in workmanship and materials for 20 years of residential use or 5 years commercial use.

Our limited warranty warrants to the original purchaser that its poly furniture will be free of original defects in workmanship and materials. This warranty does not cover damage caused by unauthorized service or repair; alteration or abuse, normal wear and tear on materials, or any attempt to use the product in a manner or for a purpose other than for which it is intended. Polyethylene may scratch during normal use, fade slightly from exposure to sunlight, or stain after prolonged contact with other substances. These conditions are not defects and are not covered under this warranty.

Stainless steel fasteners are warranted to not fail structurally for the applicable warranty period if maintained according to Product Care. Swivels are warranted to not fail structurally for five (5) years of residential use. This warranty does not cover rusted fasteners and swivels, or structural failure due to rusted fasteners and swivels, resulting from improper maintenance. Cushions are warranted for a period of one (1) year of residential use. Compression of cushions is not considered a defect.

Poly furniture never needs to be painted or stained because it is built with recycled plastic that will not rot or splinter. The color will never wear off because it is embedded throughout the product. A UV protective agent keeps fading to a minimum. Poly furniture is not affected by most corrosive substances, and will not promote bacterial growth.

Simple cleaning is all you need to do to enjoy our handcrafted poly furniture for many years! Cleaning is easy. Most dirt wipes away with non-abrasive soap and water using a soft sponge. Tight corners can be cleaned with a plastic bristled brush. Surface dust can simply be hosed off. Stubborn marks can be removed with a magic eraser. For rust spots, scrub the furniture with Iron Out. For a deep clean, use a pressure washer on the lightest setting and at no more than 1,500 psi. Do not place the tip of the pressure washer closer than 10”–12” from the furniture or it may damage the finish.

Surface protection Flower pot residue should be removed regularly to prevent staining. Do not use sharp objects such as knives on your furniture. Avoid setting items with sharp edges on the furniture, including tools, metal, gravel, or dirty items. To avoid melting, do not place hot items directly onto the furniture.

All fasteners on our poly furniture are 316 grade stainless steel. This high grade stainless steel should not rust in a normal outdoor environment. If your furniture is heavily exposed to saltwater, occasionally rinse it with fresh water to maintain a rust-free surface. Fasteners should be checked periodically for tightness.

HDPE is an inert, see-through material that is weather-resistant and displays durability even at very low temperatures, due to these features, HDPE plastic is one of the most versatile plastics in the world.

Highly resistant to chemicals, moisture, solvents, and extreme temperatures and environments, HDPE has an incredibly long-lifespan, with studies showing products made from HDPE lasting in excess of 50 years.

An incredibly workable material, common wood working tools and CNC fabrication techniques can be used to cut, drill, router and fasten HDPE plastic lumber.
